Fly trivia. (because right now all that comes to mind are the stack of lecture notes I have to slowly burnish into my neurons, the image of Jake Gyllenhaal's intense unshaven medieval macho-ism, and the ridiculous number of flies that have come to invade the campus for its annual tour)TRUE flies have only one pair of wings, compared to other flies (dragonflies, butterflies, fireflies...)
Because of the various torsions of their genitalia, flies have more abilities to reproduce at more efficient rates than other insects. If you are an AIMST-er, THIS EXPLAINS IT ALL.
They also have what is called compound vision, which means they have a larger view angle and can react quicker to movements.
But it's funny how they did not see this coming.
